Do I need to have participants sign an NDA?

In order to participate in a study, testers must agree to the Tandemz rules of participation. These rules cover in particular:

• the participant's compliance and honesty
• the fact that the participant can be withdrawn from the study without compensation if he/she does not respect these instructions
• the absence of a subordinate relationship between Tandemz and the tester as well as between you and the tester
• the impossibility for the tester to claim authorship of the ideas generated during the study
• the potential registration of the study and the use of the tester's data in accordance with your privacy policy

If this regulation is not sufficient for your own rules or if you need to ensure the confidentiality of the study, you need to have the testers sign an additional NDA.

Who take care of the NDA signing?

It depends on what you want!

• If you take care of signing the NDA yourself, there are no additional costs. Everything happens outside the Tandemz platform, we do not have an integrated solution for signing.
• If you want Tandemz to take care of signing the NDA for the participants, this is an additional option that will cost you 25€ / participant.

How do you set up the signing of the NDA?

You sign the NDA yourself

When setting up the session (before launching):

In the Session Description field, add the information "Participation in this study is conditional on signing a confidentiality agreement."

If possible, add a screening question about this. For example: "Participation in this study is conditional on signing a confidentiality agreement. [I understand and wish to participate] / [I do not agree and no longer wish to participate].

Once the session has started:

As soon as a participant makes an appointment with you, you will have their email address. All you have to do is send them the agreement to sign by email.

If the participant has not signed the agreement before the appointment, you can cancel the appointment in the platform at no extra cost. When cancelling, please indicate the reason for the cancellation and send a message to our team (via chat or at support@tandemz.io) to withdraw the last minute cancellation fee.

Tandemz will take care of getting the NDA signed

When setting up the session (before launching):

You just have to check the box asking you if you want to make your participants sign an NDA.

Once the session is launched:

We take care of obtaining the participants' signature by electronic signature before the meeting.

We send you the signed NDAs, either as we receive them or in one go at the end of the study (depending on your choice).

Do you have a model NDA?

Tandemz does not have a model NDA: you must therefore bring your own NDA to be signed.
