What if I need to postpone my study?

****Do you have a study in progress, perhaps you have already recruited participants, and you want to suspend it to carry it out later? Don't panic! It's perfectly possible, we'll explain everything ⬇️

Stop recruiting new participants

In order to stop the recruitment of new participants, you need to pause the session. The participation link will no longer be sent to new participants, but people who already have the link can still respond.

Click on the pause button (|) at the top left of your session. The banner turns red, your session is paused:

Pausing the session allows you to keep all your settings. When you restart the study, you only need to put it back in "play" mode to restart the recruitment!

Cancel appointments already booked

If slots have already been booked by participants, you can cancel them by clicking on the card of each participant:

The participant will receive an automatic email to inform him/her that his/her appointment is cancelled.

If you wish, you can put his profile back in the "to be treated" section, so that you can propose a new appointment when you restart the study. The participant will not be notified that the survey will be resumed later, you are free to notify him/her via email.

Delete available slots

In order to prevent participants from continuing to book slots, you need to delete all available slots. Go to the session settings (blue pencil at the top of the page), then to the "availability" tab, where you can access the calendar containing the available slots.

Participants will not be informed that the study will resume later, you are free to inform them via the messaging system that slots will be available again later.
