Launching a study on Tandemz

You want to start a new session on Tandemz?

Start by logging in to your account on the platform.

Your organisation does not have an account on Tandemz: create an account as a researcher here

Go to the tab ** "Sessions "**.
At the top right of the page, click on "New session " :
Select the study fee you need
Click on "Continue ", you will arrive in the session edition
Fill in the different configuration tabs of the session, without forgetting to click on "Save and continue " to go to the next tab:

|| You can quit editing your session at any time and resume it later, your session will remain in "draft" status

Once you have finished setting up, you just need to accept the T&Cs and click

How and when is your reward sent ?

Rewards are sent as e-gift cards through Glady.com or Tremendous. com using the email address you provided when signing up for the study related. ||| We do not need any banking info from you to emit payments.

You recently participated in one of our study and you did not receive your reward yet? Here are a few things you can check:

You just participated in one of our studies ?

As soon as the study organizer validates your participation on the platform, you will be notified per email. Your reward will be sent in the 7 working days following the reception of this email.

|| The organizer may take a few days to validate your participation. || Check your emails: did you receive a notification? If you have not, contact the organizer of the study by answering to any email you received from Tandemz about this study.

You have received the email stating that your participation has been validated?

From the reception of this email, you will receive your gift card by email in the following 7 working days.

||| Check your emails: when did you receive this notification? If it has been less than 7 days, it is totally normal! Just wait a few more days.

It's been more than 7 days and you still haven't received your gift card?

The email was sent from the Glady or Tremendous platform. Check your spam folder: their emails are sometimes hidden there! ||| C

Synchronization (and desynchronization) of your Google Calendar on Tandemz

What does calendar synchronization enable?

When you synchronize a calendar with Tandemz, you can, depending on your settings :

have your participants' slots appear directly in the calendar of your choice
automatically generate videoconference links for your remote studies
avoid conflicts between participant slots and your calendar.

Which calendars can be synchronized with Tandemz?

Tandemz uses the Cronofy API to manage calendar synchronization. This API enables you to synchronize schedules with :

iCloud
Google
Office 365 (Office suite calendar)
Outlook.com (calendar linked to a personal Outlook account)
Exchange (calendar managed and hosted internally by your company)

When you synchronize an account, all the calendars in that account are synchronized. You'll then be able to choose which calendar to add slots to per session (see the article dedicated to availability management for more details).

Can I synchronize more than one account?

Yes, if you have a personal Google account and a professional Office account, for example, you can synchronize both accounts. You can synchronize as many accounts as you like.

Where can I synchronize my calendar?

You can synchronize your calendars in 2 places:

Participation rules

As a researcher, keep these rules in mind before and when having a meeting

You are allowed to:

Contact booked participants directly by phone or SMS. We especially recommend you to do so if a participant is late, or if you have an emergency. You can also contact them beforehand to double check elements of their screeners, to confirm their attendance or to convey extra instructions before the meeting.
Cancel an appointment if it's in more than 24h - see our cancellation policies for more details.
Cut a meeting short if a participant isn't participating seriously (see below). If you cut a meeting less than 10-15min into the meeting for one of the valid reasons below, you will not be billed and participants will not be paid. You will also have the option to ask for a replacement participant with no extra fee.

Valid reasons to cut a meeting short

Dishonest answers to the screener : We are very strict with participant's honesty. If a participant has lied on their screener to get into the study, you should cut the meeting short and report them. This will exclude them from any future study, they will not be paid and you will not be billed.
